Privacy Policy

We do not sell your data, and you can delete your account and data at any time. Zen Corp is the legal entity operating this service.

• 1. What we collect

  We collect the account details and app settings needed to provide your daily personalized song experience and, if you connect a Google account, the Google Calendar data described in section 5.

  Location: to fit songs to your local weather, we estimate roughly where you are from your internet connection, and from your device's approximate position only if you ask in Settings, after which we keep it current while you use the site, without asking again, for as long as your browser allows it. We keep it rounded to about 11 km, internet-based estimates expire after 60 days, and our weather provider receives only rounded coordinates, never your identity. A song that uses your weather keeps the name of the place it came from for as long as the song exists. Untick “Use my local weather in songs” in Settings to keep the weather out of your songs and to delete your device's position and stop reading it; we still estimate your area from your internet connection. We never collect location for children under 13.

• 2. First-party usage analytics

  We record how songs are opened, played, and rated using our own first-party analytics — no advertising networks, no third-party trackers, and no tracking cookies. You can turn analytics off anytime in Settings.

• 3. We do not sell your data

  We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

• 4. Delete your account and data anytime

  You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time from your account controls or by contacting support. Deletion is completed 30 days after your request, and you can cancel it before then.

• 5. Google user data

  Adults can optionally connect Google Calendar to personalize songs.

  5.1 What we access

  We have read-only access to your calendars and their non-private events, plus your Google account ID and email to identify the connection.

  5.2 How we use it

  We use event details only to inspire song lyrics. We never sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

  5.3 Who we share it with

  Our AI lyrics provider receives trimmed event details, with training disabled; our music provider receives only the lyrics; our hosting provider runs our systems. No one else receives it unless the law requires.

  5.4 How we protect and delete it

  We encrypt it in transit and at rest and limit staff access to confirmed abuse, operational, or quality needs. Calendar snapshots are deleted automatically after a short period. Disconnecting in Settings or your Google Account permissions revokes access; deleting your account deletes stored event details.

  Meloday's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
